Home > Get Involved > Sponsorship Donations and SponsorshipsThe work of the Adom Partnership and the Amazing Grace School relies largely upon generous donations from individuals and churches. If you support the the vision of growing Christian leadership in Africa and would like to give financially to help these future leaders, please consider one of the following ways to support the organization. Child SponsorshipThe child sponsorship program is the Adom Partnership’s primary means of supporting the children and the Amazing Grace School. For $30 a month you can support the educational, nutritional, and medical needs of a child in Ghana. You will receive periodic letters written by your sponsor child and pictures as well the ministries quarterly newsletter. We strongly encourage you to write and get to know your sponsor child. If you'd like to become a sponsor, please use the Contact Us and an Adom Volunteer will follow up with you. Provide a Teacher’s SalaryThe teachers of Amazing Grace School form the heart of the ministry. It is their labor and love for the children that yields bright, Godly students. Providing a teacher’s salary allows Amazing Grace School to keep its excellent faculty and recruit others. A donation of $3500 or roughly $300 a month will provide a veteran teacher their yearly salary. You will receive a profile of the teacher you are supporting as well as quarterly newsletters regarding the ministry of the school. We strongly encourage you to write and get to know the teacher you are supporting. If you would like to sponsor all or some of a teacher's salary, Contact Us and an Adom Volunteer will follow up with you. Secondary School Entrance Fee DonationGraduates of the Amazing Grace School take qualification exams for placement into the nationalized secondary school system. In 2005, 100% of the students from Amazing Grace School pass ed the placement exams and were eligible to attend secondary school. Unlike America, tuition is relatively affordable but one-time entrance fees are not. Your one-time entrance fee donation of $300 can allow a graduate of the Amazing Grace School to attend secondary school and, eventually, college. Capital Project GrantThe Adom Partnership has always sought to become self supporting while benefiting the local villages near the Amazing Grace School. Many possibilities exist for generating revenue. Already the school operate a small bus that is used to transport children before and after school and then used as a local taxi to earn money in the off hours. Ideas like this and others require initial capital investments. Giving a grant for some of the following needs could change the future of the Amazing Grace School.
School Improvement ProjectsThe Amazing Grace School was built not only by donations from Americans, but also by American college students and short term missionaries who visited each summer. The school has grown to accommodate the large number of students wishing to attend. But further development of the school facilities is necessary. The following 5 items are the top priorities currently that the school and API hopes to raise funds to complete:
If you would like to donate toward a School Improvement Project, a Capital Project Grant, or a Secondary School Entrance Fee you can make that donation online. For more information on any of these items fill of out the Contact Us form and an Adom Volunteer will contact you shortly. |
