The Well Project

Throughout the Bible we see people getting their spiritual and physical needs met at the well.  In the same way Amazing Grace School has been working to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of its students.  To assist them in this mission we want to help them establish a working well on their campus.  Clean water is an expensive but necessary item on the budget of a school ministering to the poor in West Africa.

The water that Amazing Grace is currently serving the students is trucked in weekly.  If the Amazing Grace School can raise the funds to drill and establish a working well on its property they would save a significant amount of money and be able to use it elsewhere in their work.  $5,000 will drill the bore hole, build the pump, and make the well a reality. 

The Well Project is API’s 2009 Christmas gift to Amazing Grace.  All funds that are raised above what is needed will go towards the other school improvement projects in order of need.  Please join us in meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the Amazing Grace students this Christmas.    

Well Project Update June 2010:  Thus far we have raised all but about $600 of the needed funds.  Praise God.  The School has borrowed some money and the well has been drilled and their is water flowing through the pipes of Amazing Grace.
