- Jared Warner and Brian Wong have just completed a one year stay with the Amazing Grace School. While they were there they taught mathematics as well as other subjects and had a great time bonding with the students. Jared and Brian were InterVarsity Graduates from UCLA and were the first Americans to spend a whole year living in Kumasi and working with the Amazing Grace School.
- Sam and Adrienne Rizk have just complete a 5 week stay in Ghana with a team 5 UCLA undergrads who were involved in the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at UCLA. While they were there they were able to bring funds to improve and expand the current kitchen that feeds the students of Amazing Grace. For many students, the food they get at the school is the most nutritious meal they recieve all day.
- The school currently enjoys the benefits of the new bus and computer lab. Generous donations by friends and partners of API were able to make this happen. For more information about how the computer lab and bus are affecting the students, check out the July 2009 newsletter.
