Spring 2011 Campaign

This Spring, Adom Partnership International launched its first annual Spring Campaign for the Amazing Grace School. Thanks to your generosity, we raised close to $5,000 for the school! This money will directly fund the most pressing needs of our students and teachers at Amazing Grace.

It’s not over yet!

If you missed our campaign, you still have a chance to give! At the close of our campaign, a generous donor stepped up and offered to match up to $5,000 of any new donations or sponsorships received from now until September 1st. Donate now and double the impact of your gift!

Nathaniel’s Story

Nathaniel was born into a family of eight children, in a poor village outside Kumasi, Ghana. Things were hard enough as they were. Then his mother left his father for another man, leaving Nathaniel’s father alone to provide for and raise eight children. Nathaniel didn’t always have food to eat. He skipped his classes. He developed intestinal problems and had no access to medical care. Yet today Nathaniel is a student at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, on his way to an impressive professional career. How does this happen?

Thirty years ago, Rev. Dr.  Joseph Mante had a vision for seeing poor, undernourished, uneducated children like Nathaniel holistically met by God and delivered from the cycles of poverty. Out of this vision, the Amazing Grace School was built, and what began as a one-building schoolhouse for half a dozen kindergartners is, today, a thriving school of over 450 students. The school serves students from preschool through 9th grade, each of whom receive a quality education, a meal each day, and who consistently score at the highest levels in national exams to qualify for secondary education.

A story like Nathaniel’s is made possible by the Amazing Grace School.  The school offered him meals when he had none. The headmaster chased him down when he ditched class. When he developed intestinal problems, the head teacher brought in doctors and Nathaniel was treated free of charge. Nathaniel was bright, eager, and full of potential… but never would have made it out of his village without the Amazing Grace School, and the help of donors like you.
